The anti-digital marketing agency

Real people. Real phone calls. A steady pipeline.

Your prospects are tired of AI-written emails, automated LinkedIn messages and ad retargeting. ColdJobs is different: experienced callers phone the people who sign off IT and security spend and book meetings into your calendar every month, even when you're too busy to sell.

  • Phone first, human first
  • £250 per held meeting
  • No-shows refunded or credited

Our philosophy

People buy from people, not from large language models.

You've probably been contacted by plenty of digital marketing agencies already, offering AI outreach, automated email sequences and campaigns measured in "impressions". Your prospects get the same messages, and most of them look alike. ColdJobs is the anti-digital marketing agency: we pick up the phone and have a real conversation with a real decision-maker.

01 · Phone first

The phone still works

A phone call is the quickest way to a real conversation with someone who has budget. We call verified direct mobile numbers, not switchboards or shared inboxes.

02 · Human first

A real person, every time

Every call, voicemail and follow-up comes from a named ColdJobs caller. We don't use AI voices, synthetic callers or automated sequences sent in your name.

03 · Tech as a tool

AI helps behind the scenes

Technology helps us research, prepare and stay organised. Nothing reaches a prospect unless a person wrote it or rewrote it.

04 · Outcomes only

Meetings, not impressions

We don't sell clicks, reach or brand awareness. We're paid for meetings with qualified decision-makers that actually take place.

Where we use technology

  • Researching prospects and their current IT setup
  • Preparing for calls and analysing call recordings
  • Cleaning lists and screening them against the CTPS
  • CRM notes, renewal-date tracking and call-backs

Where we never do

  • AI-generated or synthetic voices on calls
  • Automated email or LinkedIn sequences sent in your name
  • Paid ads, retargeting or "brand awareness" campaigns
  • Starting a business relationship on your behalf

Tired of AI-written emails and robot calls? So are your prospects. That's why a call from an experienced person stands out.

The feast-or-famine cycle

Your pipeline dries up when you're too busy to notice

At most MSPs and cyber consultancies, the MD or CTO handles sales on top of client work. Cold prospecting is the job that gets dropped first.

Delivery gets busy

A big onboarding or incident takes over the founder's week. Prospecting stops.

Nobody notices yet

Work is coming in, so there's no sign of trouble. The sales cycle is 3–6 months, so the gap stays hidden.

A client or two leaves

A contract ends, or referrals slow down, and there is nothing in the pipeline to replace them.

The famine

The founder rushes back into selling, and it takes months to rebuild the pipeline. Then it starts again.

Only 7% of professional services firms report a strong, growing pipeline, and more than half can't forecast revenue beyond six months.910 Buyers are also hard to time. Only about 5% of B2B buyers are in the market in any given quarter,11 and a third of new MSP clients are taken from a competitor, usually around their contract renewal.1

How ColdJobs smooths it out

Human outbound that keeps running while you deliver

You don't need an in-house SDR, another digital agency or an AI sending emails in your name. A real person keeps calling the people who sign off IT and security spend, in rolling 4-week cycles.

01

Calling never pauses

We keep calling during your busiest delivery months, when founder-led prospecting usually stops.

02

Catch buyers as they enter the market

Only a few prospects are buying in any quarter, so a one-off campaign misses most of them. Regular calling reaches your target accounts as they become ready to buy.

03

Contract renewal tracking

A person asking the right questions finds out when a prospect's current MSP or security contract is up for renewal. We call back before that window opens.

04

A conversation, not a sequence

An email sequence can't deal with an objection or notice hesitation. A skilled caller can. That's how we qualify prospects properly and book meetings that actually happen.

05

Costs follow results

Every pound you prepay is for a specific meeting. If a meeting doesn't happen, you get a refund or a credit. No budget goes on impressions or reach.

06

Today's meetings are next quarter's revenue

With a 3–6 month sales cycle, calling through summer and the Christmas lull protects your Q1 and Q3 revenue.

Who it's for

Built for technical firms without a sales team

ColdJobs works with UK managed service providers and cybersecurity consultancies, typically with 10–100 staff, that are great at delivery but don't have a dedicated outbound or inbound sales team.

When an MSP owner sells their business, a dedicated business development function can strengthen their position in negotiations.4 A consistent pipeline helps you now and adds value at exit.

The terms in plain English

What counts as a held meeting

The prospect attends your video or phone meeting for at least 10 minutes.

What counts as qualified

A UK business with at least 10 employees or IT seats, and a decision-maker or key influencer in IT or security buying, such as an MD, CEO, CTO, CISO, Head of IT or IT Director. They must accept a calendar invite sent to their verified work email.

Reporting a no-show

Email us by 17:00 UK time on the third business day after the meeting. Meetings not reported by then count as held.

No-shows on your side

If you miss the meeting, join more than 10 minutes late, have technical problems on your side, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, it counts as held.

Your calendar

Connect your calendar and keep at least 10 meeting slots open each week, so we can book meetings straight in.

Stopping

Give 14 days' written notice before your next 4-week cycle starts. Any meetings from your current cycle that haven't been booked or held are refunded at £250 each.

Data protection

We comply with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR. Every calling list is screened against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) at least every 28 days.

What we don't promise

We book meetings with qualified decision-makers. Winning the work is up to you, so we don't guarantee sales or revenue.

The numbers

About 28 dials per meeting, against an industry average of about 400

Most reps spend their day on hold at switchboards. We call verified direct mobile numbers, which connect several times more often,7 and our callers understand the technology well enough to have a real conversation about it.

A typical digital agency pitch
"Pay us £3,000 a month. We'll automate your LinkedIn, run AI email sequences and send you a report on impressions."

The result: your brand sounds like everyone else's, and you get very few meetings.

ColdJobs
"Let's have a free 20-minute call. After onboarding, a real person phones your ideal clients. You pay £250 per meeting held, and anything that doesn't happen is refunded."

The result: real conversations and a calendar with meetings in it.

About our founder

A salesperson who understands your technology

ColdJobs was founded by a sales strategist with an MSc in Computer Science and eight years' combined experience in B2B appointment setting and automation software product management.

Having built automation software, our founder knows what technology does well, and knows that a first business conversation should be between two people. Cybersecurity frameworks, cloud migrations and MSP stacks come up on every call, and they can discuss them knowledgeably. We only book meetings with people who have the authority and budget to sign off third-party services.

Who's calling for you

Every caller is hired to the same blueprint

That background is the standard, not the exception. We only hire callers with the technical understanding to get into real conversations with your prospects, and to answer whatever a CTO, CISO or IT Director asks.

01

Technical people only

Every caller has a technical background in IT, security or software. We don't hire generalist telemarketers and hand them a script.

02

Real conversations, not scripts

Questions about security frameworks, cloud migrations, compliance or how your stack fits theirs get a knowledgeable answer, not "I'll have someone get back to you".

03

Trained on your service

During the knowledge handover, your caller learns your offer in depth, so prospects hear someone who could explain it as well as you can.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you use AI to call or email prospects?

No. Every call, voicemail and follow-up is made by a real ColdJobs caller. We use technology behind the scenes for research, call preparation, list cleaning and CRM notes, but nothing reaches a prospect unless a person wrote it. People buy from people.

Why phone calls instead of digital marketing?

Your prospects already receive dozens of near-identical automated emails and LinkedIn messages every week. A well-prepared call from someone who understands their IT setup gets a real conversation, and lets us qualify them properly before anything goes in your calendar.

What counts as a "held" meeting?

The prospect attends your video or phone meeting for at least 10 minutes. If they don't attend, or leave within 10 minutes, report it by 17:00 UK time on the third business day after the meeting. We'll refund the £250 or credit it to a replacement meeting. If you miss the meeting, are more than 10 minutes late, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, it counts as held.

Who do you call?

Decision-makers or key influencers in IT and security buying, such as MDs, CEOs, CTOs, CISOs, Heads of IT and IT Directors, at UK businesses with at least 10 employees or IT seats. We agree your exact ideal client profile during onboarding.

Do I need to provide leads?

For each 4-week cycle, either supply at least 100 leads that fit your ideal client profile and are cleared for UK B2B outreach, with direct numbers, work emails, company names and job titles, or we'll source 100 verified leads for you for £1,000 + VAT.

What's the difference between remote and in-person onboarding?

Remote onboarding (£500 + VAT) is done by video and covers product discovery, your ideal client profile, script writing and CRM setup. In-person onboarding (£1,000 + VAT) is up to four hours on site at your UK offices, adding a strategy session and technical alignment.

How do payments work?

You prepay £1,000 + VAT for four meetings per 4-week cycle, by card or direct debit through Stripe. Once all four meetings have been held, the next cycle is charged automatically. There's no monthly retainer.

Can I stop when we're at capacity?

Yes. Give 14 days' written notice before your next cycle starts. Meetings from your current cycle that haven't been booked or held are refunded at £250 each. Onboarding and lead sourcing fees are non-refundable.

Is cold calling compliant with UK GDPR?

Yes. We comply with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR, and we process data under legitimate interests for B2B direct marketing. Every calling list is screened against the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) at least every 28 days.

Do you guarantee we'll win clients?

No. We book meetings with qualified decision-makers. Winning the work is up to you, and you know your service better than anyone.
